AirDryModel..::..AirDry Method

This model is used to calculate the emissions associated with drying solid product in a dryer with no emission control equipment. Thus, the model assumes that the entire solvent content of the wet product cake is emitted to the atmosphere. The calculation of the emission is then a simple calculation based on the expected, or measured, dry product weight and the expected, or measured, wet cake LOD (loss on drying).

Parameters

initial
Type: Highpoint.Sage.Materials.Chemistry..::..Mixture
The initial mixture that is dried.
final
Type: Highpoint.Sage.Materials.Chemistry..::..Mixture%
An out-param that provides the mixture that results.
emission
Type: Highpoint.Sage.Materials.Chemistry..::..Mixture%
An out-param that provides the emitted mixture.
modifyInPlace
Type: Boolean
True if the initial mixture provided is to be modified as a result of this call.
massOfDriedProductCake
Type: Double
Kilogram mass of the post-drying product cake.
controlTemperature
Type: Double
Control (or condenser) temperature, in degrees Kelvin.
materialGuidToVolumeFraction
Type: Hashtable
A hashtable with the guids of materialTypes as keys, and the volumeFraction for that material type as values. VolumeFraction is the percent [0.0 to 1.0] of that material type in the offgas.
